Austin, Texas was way better this time around!

Pedernales (Jack always seems to be posing, doesn't he?)

The Salt Lick

Francis and Kate, some dear old friends

The gulls came by land and by air for Jack's hot dogs

Mount Bonnell- highest point in Austin- maybe 300 feet

Austin was great, so were Jack and Vineet.

THE MOST GRANDEST OF ALL

There are more stories to tell, yes, but I wanted to get these pictures up sooner than later.

The Grand Canyon (I only started taking pictures when we were almost at the bottom and then on the way back up, so these might appear a little backwards!)

The view from the top!

Sarah and I after hiking 10 miles and climbing almost 4,000 feet!

biscuits and tea over the fire for breakfast!

another beautiful view of THE canyon

more great southwest trees

Zion National Park (my favorite)

See that mountain in the middle and how steep it is?! Its called Angel's Landing and Sarah and I hiked it!

The view from Angel's Landing

Look how great this guy is!

The chains that you must hold onto for dear life when climbing Angel's Landing

A view of the gleaming Angel's Landing from the ground

Arches National Park

Delicate Arch

Petroglyphs

Possibly my new favorite tree

(we thought that we should get at least one of these kinds of pictures in each)

There is much more to be said about our incredibly transformative 6 day journey- but I will have to write all about it later!
